Members of The Australian Commonwealth Collectors' Club enjoy the following benefits:
Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month, at Philas House, 17 Brisbane Street, Darlinghurst, NSW. Displays are provided by members and other philatelists covering a wide range of Commonwealth subjects. Displayers receive an engraved medal as a memento of their evening. Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting.
- The Bulletin commenced publication in 1962 and is published four times a year. The Bulletin provides a forum for the publication of original research into all facets of Australian Commonwealth philately. Back numbers of most volumes are available. Occasional Supplements to the Bulletin appear dealing with separate subjects. Members are able to download back issues of the Bulletin in the Members area of this website. A sample issue of the Bulletin can be viewed here.
- The two-volume study of the King George V 1½d Die I Issue was published in 2005 and 2009, and is available for purchase.
- Convenors of Study Groups for Kangaroos issues, King George V issues and Modern Philately provide updates on current activity in their fields.
- King George V workshops, open to all interested collectors, have been held at a number of National Exhibitions in recent years.
- Experts are available for consultation in most areas of Australian Commonwealth philately.
- The Club’s conducts an Annual Competition at the May meeting of each year. Entries are composed of 16 sheets of
Australian and Territories material.
- Fellowships were introduced in 2015 and are granted to those members who have made significant contributions over a period of years to the Club. Fellows may use the letters 'ACCCF' after their name.
- A Research Medal is awarded on occasion by the Council to collectors who have made a significant contribution to Australian Commonwealth philatelic research. This award is available to both members and non-members.
- The Member's Area of the website includes free downloads of past issues of the Bulletin, and a History of the club written by Richard Peck; downloads of significant collections; and downloads of many various research documents.
